My career started off graduating from Toni & Guy Academy in 2011 mainly focused on Bridal Beauty and creating customized looks for my brides. I spent three years working in other highly renowned salons in RI learning the business of my craft.

Starting my first on site small business 'Jaclynn Kate Hair & Makeup Artistry' in 2011 which serviced brides and their bridal party on site the morning of their weddings.

Business expanded quickly, opening Jaclynn Kate Hair & Makeup Artistry Salon in 2014. My on location team of beauty professionals is now a SEVEN time award winning professional team in New England. Nationally known as The Knot Best of weddings, specializing in soft tassel updos, vintage & romantic glam.

I am a certified high definition airbrush makeup artist an continue my education in NYC, Boston & L.A. I have trained under celebrity Makeup Artists James Vincent, Celebrity Makeup Artist Gina Badhen, Celebrity Hair Stylist Richard Grant, T.vs very own Alexa Prisco from her TV show Glam Fairy, and nationally recognized NAHA winner Sharen Blaine.

I am salon certified in Hair Treats Hair Extensions, Keratin Complex as well as a fully licensed cosmetologist. I have been trained in Redken Color and designer cuts by Joseph Marzioli and Zak Mascolo the artistic creators of Toni & Guy.

Recently in 2015 I competed for the title of Ms.Rhode Island New England States and won. Loving having the title and being able to help out local charities raise money and awareness of the cause. Since my title ending we still currently participate in charity events and enjoy helping with donations etc.

Caitlin is an alumni of Toni & Guy. She came to Jaclynn Kate Hair & Makeup Artistry four years ago fresh out of the academy. Caitlin is certified in Keratin Complex, Eyelash Extensions and has received raving reviews from her clients on sites such as Yelp, WeddingWire and The Knot through the business.

She works magic with color, creating beautiful hues of highs & lows and is a makeup guru. Caitlin is our Senior Artist for all Brides inquiring with us and unable to book directly with Jaclynn Kate.
